Define the brief before you collect the data
If you cannot describe the brief, you do not have a listening product yet.
Most listening projects drown in data because nobody defined what the operator needs on Monday morning.
We start with a simple brief template: what moved, why it matters, what to do next, and who owns the response.
Build a triage lane (not a dashboard)
Dashboards are for browsing. Operators need triage: what is urgent, what is trending, and what is noise.
A good triage lane is small, fast, and consistent. It prioritizes the next action over the prettiest chart.
Ship the loop: listen → brief → activate
The system only counts when it closes the loop. Briefs need an activation path: content requests, community replies, creative prompts, or campaign pivots.
When the brief becomes an input to your workflow tools, the “insight” turns into momentum.
“Social intelligence is only useful when it lands as an action a team can ship.”
